Liz Jones - original paintings and prints

 "It has been said that sometime, somewhere you might recognise a friend, relation, or even yourself, in one of my paintings. After a lifetime of factory work I took up painting as a hobby. I was never very good a painting at school, so I am definitely self taught.

I paint life as I see it, and am quite surprised at how popular my work has become. I’ve always included a little white dog and two worms which are really caterpillars. It didn’t start as a gimmick, I put them in one picture and everyone asked where they were in any new paintings, so I carried on putting them in.

I also paint portraits and won 1st Prize with the Sun Newspaper in a Paint Lady Diana Competition."

Liz is one of our much loved artists and has been working with the Panache Gallery from its inception. We thoroughly enjoy working with Liz who is a beautiful and colourful character, and her husband. 

Liz's work is a joy to us and adds a great splash of fun and colour to any home - the array of colours seem to fit into any type of home.  We can arrange commissions for a one off bespoke painting by Liz. Her work has been sent to many corners of the world for so many people to enjoy!
