T.G.Green acquired his Derbyshire pottery in 1864. It wasn't until 1920 that Cornishware was launched as a functional kitchenware range. Its striking design soon became part of the English way of life. Since then, the range has grown to create a highly collectable and usable set of items that work in the modern home. Great care has been taken to preserve the characteristics that made this a design classic, whilst bringing it into the modern age by ensuring that it can be used in dishwashers, microwaves and ovens.
Established in 1946, Jersey Pottery became a renowned designer and manufacturer supplying ceramics and giftware. Jersey Pottery ceramics were made in Stoke-on-Trent, England and with partners in Europe and Asia. We are delighted to hold in stock a range of the popular Sardine Run design. Sardine Run has proven to be a very popular range with its timeless design.
Coming from design backgrounds in textiles and trend forecasting, and with over 50 years experience between us we had a very clear vision of what Cream Cornwall would look like and what our brand's principles would stand for.
We wanted to build a brand that wouldn't follow 'flash in the pan' trends, creating wasteful and pointless items, only to be thrown out a year later and replaced with another "on -trend" item.
